2022 RECAP!

Wow, it's Friday the 13th and we are two weeks into 2023. The year is flying by, and I've been busy prepping for new listings and the year ahead!

I'm excited to jump into a new year, but I also wanted to share some of the highlights from last year with you. Personally, I had my best year yet.

Overall, 2022 was a challenging year for real estate. We saw the Federal Reserve change it’s 12-year policy of Quantitative Easing (QE), with a reversal into Quantitative Tightening (QT) which started June 1, 2022. Mortgage rates rose to the highest in 15 years. Yet, Bentley’s Real Estate  was up to the task and delivered for clients where others couldn’t. The dedication of all of our fabulous experienced agents to our clients made the difference.  Bentley’s is now the number one real estate office for 2022 in Essex County (via mlspin.com)! Like 2021, I’d like to share with you 2022's accomplishments. I finished 2022 as the top agent in Newburyport, the top agent in Greater Newburyport and the number 51 individual agent in Massachusetts. I had a record year, with $49,097,300 in sales volume and sold from the seacoast of New Hampshire, along the North Shore of Massachusetts, to the suburbs of Boston.  Thank you to all of my 2022 clients for being a part of my story.

Another highlight of 2022 was being able to host my second annual pie party at my home for my past clients. I also enjoy reaching out to clients over the holidays to make time to connect. Working in real estate means meeting and connecting with many different people on a daily basis, and it is important to me that my clients know that I value these relationships and want them to last past the closing table. Being able to give back around the holiday season and reconnect with clients is so special to me!

There are so many wonderful homes I sold in 2022!

One of my favorite listings from 2022 was located at 87 High St in Newburyport that sold for $2.7 million. The “house on the ridge” is timeless and refined, and gave the illusion of being in a countryside garden, yet it is walking distance to downtown. It was an honor to represent my repeat clients on such a spectacular home.

Some other favorites were 1 Lancaster Rd in Newburyport, and 5 Hancock St. There were so many! You can check out all my sold listings HERE!
