How Does Another Year Go By So Fast?
Like years in the past, I'd like to take a moment to rewind and share my 2023 journey. It was a year filled with milestones, challenges, and accomplishments, including Bentley's partnership with the RE/MAX Collection. We are thrilled to bring a global presence to our local real estate business!
Before getting to all of the triumphs, a few words about the current real estate market. In Essex County, inventory is 🔻 16.03% from this time in 2023, and sales declined 20% in Massachusetts and 30% in Newburyport. First-time home buyers are discouraged with decreased purchasing power due to surging mortgage rates.
With a recent drop in mortgage rates over the last few weeks however, we can be hopeful! Newburyport Bank is offering and .125% off the interest rate for all first-time home buyers, along with a $500.00 credit towards closing costs.
Proof of Excellence
Despite the challenges, I remain committed to my clients and business, so on to the accomplishments! Gratitude fills my heart as I look back on the journey I shared over the past year. I couldn't have done it without my clients, coworkers and friends and family.
I managed to finish as the number one individual agent in Newburyport for the second year in a row!
Bentley's (now RE/MAX Bentley's) also solidified the number one position in Greater Newburyport for the 5th year in a row!
Giving Back to the Community
One of the highlights of 2023 that was close to my heart, was being involved in a charity event for Runway for Recovery, a local nonprofit dedicated to helping families affected by breast cancer. I was able to share my story of my mother's battle with breast cancer, and help fundraise, all while supporting local businesses. You can read about my story from the event HERE.
RE/MAX Partnership
One of the biggest highlights of 2023 was Bentley's partnership with the RE/MAX Collection. I have come full circle as I started my real estate career with RE/MAX back in 2014! Bentley's Real Estate, the number one Real Estate Company in Greater Newburyport, partnering with RE/MAX, the number one name in real estate, means bigger and better things for our clients! The Luxury Division of RE/MAX is a natural transition for Bentley's, having built our brand with an emphasis on luxury service and an "Experienced Elevated" approach to business. We are always looking ahead on how to continue to take things to the next level!

Among my accolades this year was being featured in Haven Lifestyles Luxury Living issue. I was able to discuss how my background sets me apart from other agents, as well as highlight some of my past luxury listings.
2023 Sales Highlights
My sales in 2023 expanded from Dover, NH to Atkinson, NH, and all along the North Shore of Massachusetts to Boston.
One of my favorite luxury listings I sold during 2023 was located at 4 Hamilton Way that sold for $2,400,000. Located on an exclusive Cul-De-Sac in Newburyport, the attention to detail was truly stunning! A new build featuring a flexible living space, 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, 9 foot ceilings, 3 fireplaces, and my personal favorite, the elevator!
